Danny Diamond is a Dublin fiddle player who combines Irish traditional music inspired by legendary fiddlers such as Tommie Potts and Seán Keane with influences from Nordic and American folk music. His debut solo album, released in July 2014, was acclaimed as ‘a definite contender for CD of the year’ by Siobhán Long of the Irish Times in a 5/5 review (Irish Times, 1st August 2014). Danny also plays with the traditional band Mórga and the experimental folk duo Danny & Aki. Danny will be joined on the night by guests Ian Lynch (uilleann pipes), Aki (nyckelharpa), Dermy Diamond (fiddle) and Anna Lethert (dancing) The CD artwork created by Belfast artist Susan Hughes Artist will be displayed in the venue during the gig.
